Crawdad Boil

Today turned out to be a very nice day, so we decided to check out the "Crawdad" feed in the little town of Lakeside. When I was a young girl my folks used to go to a park on a river that had lots of crawdads. We would gather them, then dad would drop them in a large coffee can filled with water and put them on the fire to cook. Just bring them to a boil and it doesn't take long. This brought back a lot of fond memories from years ago. The lower picture was taken on one of the small lakes. Thought you'd enjoy the sign. I was glad a duck came swimming by.
