banana and burner

I read a random article about Pop Art the other day and when I saw this lovely composition hanging out on our stove top it made me smile. I should paint this... but I think I would wait until the fruit was a bit more withered.

My computer (what a trooper, it's getting on in years) recently went to the Doctors and it came back better but with some new quirks. Whenever I insert my memory card into the card reader (part of the computer, best feature ever) it won't prompt a response. No matter how many times I modify the settings for the damn thing it won't let me automatically remove the pictures. So I have to go in there manually and remove them with the magic of coping folders and such. Not so bad right now but I do not look forward to the day when I come home with 100+ images.

This won't ruin the fact that I have today and tomorrow off. First time I've had two days off in a row in forever!
