Golf Shoes

These are not just golf shoes, these are golf shoes that can clear a room! I played last on Thursday in the pouring rain. I was always sure that my golf shoes were waterproof. They are not. I took them off and put them in a bag and threw the bag in the garage. I got them out yesterday to clean them and I was nearly knocked out by the smell. It is absolutely horrendous.

Imagine a lake of alcoholic's urine and vomit with shoals of dead fish floating on top. Throw in the contents of a septic tank and some gangrenous limbs and you are about halfway there. I have been informed that, under no circumstances can I use the airing cupboard to dry them out and they have to stay outside. Well, the neighbours are complaining now, so they have to go. (The shoes, not the neighbours). I am going to the town to purchase a new pair and will look for a skip on the way in which to dispose of the old shoes.
