Happy day

My friend Ruth was in town so I met up with her before work and we had a good catch up over carrot cake. She is a music teacher now and I really admire her for what she does, teaching is incredibly tough and thankless at times.

I was prepared for what I thought would be a difficult night last night in A&E but I was wrong about that. My late shift (5pm-0100) was awesome. I saw saw a range of very interesting patients- T&O, plastics, obstetrics, psychiatric, respiratory and surgical but it was never too busy that we were overwhelmed. I even got a break.

This was my snack when I got home, the smiley face was incidental! When I woke up only the peach had been eaten as I think I was too exhausted to eat.
