We DID it!

Oh boy, that was hard!

Late to start, due to problems beyond the organisers control, but hey ho!

So we set off, we had to wear our plastic ponchos...it was so cold, and the wind made it feel arctic. It pretty much stayed dry, the odd light shower. Plus at mile 17 my friend got excruciating sciatica and we gingerly walked a bit slower, whilst shoving mega doses of paracetamol into her. Then nurofen, once we came across a garage!

But we did it, and I'm now home chilling, and ordering takeaway for tea!
