A real treat!

We were providing doggy day care for Bob today while all his people were busy so a good big walk was in order. The 'boys' had great fun; it's lovely to see them running around together. Daft but happy!

Our evening was spent out with friends to celebrate two upcoming birthdays, one of which being Mr Cakes on Friday. It was spectacular! Just as we were about to order the chef came out to say that, although it wasn't on the menu, they had just got a massive monkfish in and if anyone wanted that he'd rustle up a dish with local seafood and sea vegetables. A few of us went with that and he brought out the just cooked dish for us to see before it was plated up for our enjoyment. It was delicious. As was every course. A complimentary bottle of champagne was a lovely extra touch too!
It all felt like a very special treat!
