Edward

This afternoon I went over to my friend Wendy's. I've known Wendy for about 25 years and she is one of Poppy's Godmothers.

Wendy's nephew, Edward has needed specialist care since he was born and this afternoon Wendy held a fundraising tea party to raise money for the Sick Children’s Trust who provide home from home accommodation for parents of children in hospital and for Pepper nurses who provide respite care at home for parents. As you can imagine, their lives have been turned upside down since Edwards arrival and the support of these charities has made life a little more normal.
