We took a picnic lunch out today and did a 3 mile walk around Kintbury, nr Newbury. A beautiful church yard, canal boats, and gentle rolling landscapes.

The wild flowers are amazing this spring, doing really well as a result of all the rain no doubt. This shot taken lying down on a sheet of plastic, since the ground everywhere is really wet. It was a very blowy day, difficult for close ups, but I wasn't too bothered about everything being in focus, just enough to set the scene. The billowing clouds too I hope add to the sense of the windy conditions.
