Hoover Dam & Lake Mead

Last full day in Vegas today :-( We took a trip to see the Hoover Dam which was about an hours drive from the strip. It was pretty impressive.

By the time we got back to our hotel it was mid afternoon and we headed out on the monorail to the other end of the strip to see Stratosphere which has the highest point in Las Vegas. A few drinks at the top and a view of the strip as the sun went down was amazing and a fab end to Nicola's birthday trip! :-)
