A demonstration organized by the greek bloggers for the protection of the remaining forests. It was quite successful, a lot of people gathered from all ages and as far as I know there were no incidents (as sometimes happens, that require the police to intervene).

This photo is in front of the parliament and the signs are part of a group and are quite ironic since they pretended to be constructors requesting the destruction of the remaining trees!

Some of the signs read (not an exact translation): "Accept what happened, let's build" , "Money and bribes are modern values. We are in 21st century, forests existed in the middle ages", "Myconos island that has no trees is doing just fine, contributing also to the gross domestic product. Why do you complain?".
