Curious Ellie

What an amazing day spent in Kruger today! This young elephant thought he might take us on and shook his ears at us. But he was smaller than our vehicle, so soon backed off and carried on grazing. We also saw plenty of rhino.

We've had 3 separate sightings of lions today. One mating pair in a river bed, three males asleep under a tree, and eight lions on a buffalo kill that they had brought down in the last hour. Great viewing and a great video, but not too many good photos to choose from so the elephant took poll position.

Brunch today was kudu wors with pap and sheba at Afsaal picnic site. Quite delicious and well recommended!
