Summertime...

...and there's a fresh dusting of snow on the mountains. We only narrowly missed a frost this morning. It seems that summer is a long time coming. There have been a couple of warm days, but not enough to get the fan out of storage.

It's showing in the garden too. Usually by now I'm picking green beans and tomatoes, but the tomatoes are a long way off and the beans are struggling to get past the two-leaf stage. Cool weather vegetables such as cabbages and broccoli are doing well.

The long range weather forecasters say we can expect more southerlies than usual this summer. Mount Torlesse will no doubt look like this again and again.
