We Pretty Much Almost Died

So we drove to my sister-in-law's house today in the big city and it started snowing like crazy when we were halfway home.

We were driving a SMART CAR, people. It's like a golf cart on steroids. IN SNOW.

Yeah, I know. We were sliding around and not exactly feeling safe crawling along.

So we ended up abandoning the car at a gas station so our family could come pick us up and literally cram us into their already loaded SUV, which consisted of three adults, two kids and a dog. It was a little dog, but still.

We had to chain up two blocks from the house and then parked precariously on the edge of the driveway.

I was so glad to be home that I failed to photo-document our adventure, but did take this picture later tonight after the snow had stopped falling - I'd say we got around 4 inches.
