herbs

the progress in my little kitchen garden continues. i finally caught a few seedlings of mint starting to come through. here they are, pictured next to their basil big brothers. the parsley is still taking it's time but i'm in no rush. i get an almost childlike pleasure out of checking my garden every morning and seeing how things are coming along. or, okay, i check much more often than every morning - every couple of hours is closer to the truth. it won't be long until the basil can go out on the balcony, i think. i'm enjoy this so much that today i went out and purchased some rosemary and thyme seeds, to get those going too. i'll have to wait for the basil to go out before i can plant them, right now there isn't too much space on my windowsill.
