Ceanothus Concha

Californian Lilac. This was kept in a tub for years and grew to a nice little shrub, then I planted it in the garden thinking it wouldn't grow much bigger...but it did as you can see. It was full of bees this morning all with their pollen sacs absolutely full. I tried to get a shot of one but they were moving too fast from one flower to another.
