Canally

We'd a very nice walk along the Union Canal west of Ratho, - only a couple of light showers and plenty of sun, flowers bursting all over the place.

Followed by a successful visit to the world's biggest gathering of pointy-elbowed Morningside ladies - the Botanics Plant sale, and then onward to the allotment where the sun shone nicely, and the weeds were kind enough.

Everything is growing well, especially the fruit. We're going to have loads of whitecurrants, but the trouble is I don't really know what they're for other than looking pretty as a garnish for expensive restaurant desserts.
