Embrace @ Birmingham Academy

Has it really been 8 years since the last Embrace album? It was back to the three of us tonight, Harsh, Rich and me to go and see Embrace at the academy in Birmingham. It was a really good night having a few drinks, food, and a catch up with a gig thrown in as well.

I'm sure when they decided to play the academy they didn't realise that it's actually a different venue now to when they last played, the old one being so much better. The gig itself I enjoyed but it would have been nice if the band hadn't just ignored two of their albums. Albums that some of us actually like and songs that would have gone down a storm...why miss out Save Me, gosh darn it?!? Still it was a good night.

Rich didn't particularly enjoy the gig but went to the bar.
