Champ!

Here's J with Barney sporting his rosette awarded for 2nd place in the 'Best Rescued Dog' round @ the Greyhound Awareness League's spring fair today.
He also entered the 'Best Black Greyhound' round but I think his white flecks may have counted against him, oh, and his white chest..and maybe his toes; lucky we weren't disqualified really :-)
The 1st time we met Barney 18 months back he'd just taken 2nd place in 'The dog with the waggiest tail' competition so he's no stranger to the limelight :-)
All good fun and hopefully raises awareness and funds for a great cause.

He also had a great run on the beach this morning with the tide far out meaning loads of sand to go mad on :-)
