Rannerdale Bluebells

Good year for bluebells. 'The Secret Valley' is always an evocative spot and always reminds me of the 'beserkers' , the locals holding out agaisnt the invading Normans in Nicholas Size's book and the Battle of Rannerdale Knotts.
