In The Occupied Territory

Another generation

A day of conflicting emotions.
As I left at lunchtime to go to the football, the last game of the season, Arya was cozied up on the sofa with June watching Peter Pan. She got so upset when I left.
Sadness.
At the game we just needed a draw to retain the second spot in the league. We played really well, and with the result still remained 0-0, but, sadly, in the 90th minute, as our keeper got fouled, he fumbled the ball and a Motherwell player poked the ball over the line to beat us and jumped above us.
Disappointment.
In the evening we took our eldest grandson, Grant, and his fiancé, Jade, out to Cosmos for dinner. We haven't seen him for. A couple of years and never met her before. She is carrying another generation of the family, and such a lovely girl she is.
Happiness.
