A journey through Zogland

A Grey Day

We drove down to my cousin's in Ayrshire today. Weather was the usual Scottish fare: Started off sunny, then it rained with a bit of thunder and lightning, then more sun and finally when we arrived we were told that we had just missed a hail shower. Where was the snow then? You can't claim four seasons in one day without snow. Maybe I shouldn't joke about such things, it is only May. There's still plenty of time for the white stuff.

Anyway, there were some lovely breaks in the clouds on the way down, but we were running late (my fault as usual), so I decided to wait and snap something on the way home. Big mistake. I did however manage to get this dreich landscape. I just so love this viewpoint.
