Lazy Sunday

I had too much choice of sport today. Missed a cracker of a local parish cup match between Sanday and Westray that resulted in an eleven goal thriller. The home team pipped the visitors 6-5. It promises to be an exciting second leg in a couple of weeks. Never been to Westray so I may just have to.

Settled instead to watch the Catalunya grand prix. Honestly thought there was going to be some action at the very end, but yet again the sport flatters to deceive.

Then there was Bundesliga 2 action. Well, online live-ticker score updates. With HSV finishing in the relegation playoff spot of the top tier, I was keen to find out who they'd be playing next week. There'll be a big stadium clock up for sale on ebay if they can't beat SpVgg Greuther Fürth over two legs. The horror of it doesn't bear thinking about but I can't do anything else.

There was the premiership finale as well to listen to. Just needed to make sure that my whole weekend wasn't ruined. It wasn't. Celebrated with a walk up to the dunes and took this shot toward the old Rusness kirk.
