Bracket Fungus

Towards the end of a busy day I headed out to Coppice Pond in search of today's photo. As a novice with a digital SLR there were lots of missed opportunities (such as gulls in flight over the icy pond) which I hope to be able to capture at some point in the future when I know more about how my camera works. Instead lots of deleted out of focus moving images and one stationary bracket fungus which just caught the dying light.
