Underground salt mine

Today we went deep underground into the salt mine. There were many amazing sculptures made out of salt, this is just one example. Also chandeliers made from salt crystals and a whole banquet hall carved into the salt! The most impressive was the underground salt lakes. We enjoyed exploring these vast underground caverns for around 3 hours and I got some lovely photos underground (but can't use my proper camera to blip as on holiday without my computer so this iPhone pic of one of the sculptures will have to do for now).
