The road into town.

On the immediate left is the Caltex gas and fuel depot. Gateway Park is on the right hand side.

The thicket of trees (right hand side) is the location of the small lagoon (or billabong) where the duck family lives. That's over the railway crossing.

On the left hand side the orange facade of the supermarket is just visible ... approximate to the first power pole. That's over the road from the lagoon.

It was 9 degrees Celsius or so this morning when I was out exploring the lay of the land. My hands felt very cold:)
