Dining Out on Mother's Day

It's our first attempt bringing the kids to an upscale restaurant, and I'm glad to report that it was a success!

OO in particular was drawn to the jazz pianist. She loved the ambiance and had wanted to go dancing many times. There she was, dancing away like no one was watching. She'd even gotten a fellow diner to dance with her. Her energetic dancing brought smiles to the faces of servers and passers-by.

It was a great roundup of a perfect Mother's Day - great food, great company (my family!) and special kid-free shopping time with mom and sis!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! I'm thankful for my very own amazing mom - you really are the best!
