On/in Limestone Pavement

Gait Barrows, near Arnside, north Lancashire. Wonderful bio-place, though not many flowers as yet.

This may be a common flower (I am better at birds than flowers, and have not brought my flower identification books with me) but it is uncommon beauty, I think. Perhaps especially because it is growing in a grike (or is it a clint?) in the limestone.

Also saw a number of 'bonzai' trees in the limestone holes. Too many good pics for blipping forced a choice on me...
