My 1000th blip almost passed me by in our busy day to day, but I wanted to mark it, even if in the end I mark it quietly with yet another late post. I had high hopes of catching up with myself and other blippers before the New Year was welcomed in, but given that it is New Year's Eve and I am still mid December I will have to content myself with a gradual catch up as 2010 begins. Blip has become a quieter place for me over the last year and a half and deliberately so as life has stepped up a gear. There is no longer enough time to spend browsing all the colourful, emotive and inspirational posts, but I try to dip in and out as much as I can. For me it is still a place to leave a little of my day and with it my thoughts - a small gift of memories for my children as they grow older. It has also become somewhere where I have forged some very important friendships which I hope will be lifelong. I have grown and become alongside my daily journal and thank all of you who occasionally drop by for making my journey that little bit more worthwhile.
