Foxglove Symetry

Funny old day again of torrential downpours and bright sunlight. So I abandoned plans for an adventure and pottered in the garden. I wondered : did I hear Swifts. They are usually here in Norfolk by now. I've noticed the numbers declining in the time I've been here. They used fly screeching like rioting children along the tunnel of my street and I envied that energy that had carried them from Africa.
I did spot a spider sunning herself flat on a leaf, but her magical biomechanics ( working better than mine ) lifted her into a more familiar shape as I disturbed her.
