gillian had a hard job to do at this debate for first time voters in the referendum. since the better together folk couldn't find a person willing to be involved, it was difficult to actually make it a debate and gillian ended up agreeing with everything that young 15 year old martin was saying...but at the same time trying to keep to the spirit of debate.

you can't have a debate when one side won't participate...an increasingly common theme these days.

martin was great and I'm very impressed that someone his age is not only engaged in the debate but is actively out there arguing the case for an indy scotland.

apparently there's an 80% registration for 17/18 year olds for the referendum so far - pretty impressive. hope they all vote.
