Soup

At this time of the year the wood we live in is awash with the scent of wild garlic - it grows like a carpet through the trees and is powerfully fragrant harbinger of Spring.
We grow a lot of 'ordinary' garlic in the vegetable plots - but I've never thought of a use for the wild garlic - I've just enjoyed it for what it is. Then last year we stopped at the wonderfully eccentric eco refuge Dorbon on the Tour du Muveran - for supper our starter was a truly delicious wild garlic soup - and a plan was formed.
So today I've picked a load of the smallest formed leaves and am going to attempt to make a similar foraged delight - if there are no further Blips it did not go well...
