On the Inside Looking Up

I had the chance to take a 15-minute break after a safety meeting this afternoon, and found a comfy chair in a sunny spot on the 7th floor of New Broadcasting House to sit and enjoy a hot chocolate.

Having previously blipped a picture of Old Broadcasting House against a beautiful blue sky, and a view from the inside of New Broadcasting House looking out, to complete the set here's a photo taken from more or less the same vantage point looking up at the structure of the new building itself and the sky beyond.

This part of Broadcasting House was officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen in June last year, causing much excitement among BBC staff wherever she went. Who says we don't look up to at least some VIP's?
