Thank you gift

Our Monday morning Scottish Country dance group has been on the go for thirty five years. For twenty of these years our teacher has been Margaret, who has been a wonderful teacher with just the right amount of discipline combined with a great wit and kindness. Margaret is in her ninetieth year and has decided to retire from teaching. We will all miss her in the class but of course we will still be in touch with her.

Today the HG and I gave her a gift of a photo book with photographs of our dancing days. Next week she will be given a formal presentation from the club, which unfortunately we will not be able to attend. So we did it today.

Last evening we were at the Mitchell Theatre in Glasgow as our g'daughter's dance group were competing. It was wonderful, and I am happy to say her group won and will now be in the final in the Pavilion Theatre in the future.
