Last day of my holidays so to make the most of the day we went through to St. Andrews.
We intended to have a long walk on the West Sands but had to rethink our plans when Maeve, while attempting a quick turn on the sand,twisted her back leg.A loud squeak was uttered and then we noticed that she wouldn't put any weight on the paw.Fortunately after a check of the paw and much sympathy and cuddles she was soon able to put her weight on the paw and could continue to walk without any obvious distress.
St Andrews was quite busy with lots of overseas visitors but we managed a quiet picnic lunch in the grounds of the cathedral.
Spotted this on one of the lovely old buildings in the town.
