Life in the Midst of Decay

This building is found in what used to be downtown Philadelphia, TN. I was unable to do any research, and know nothing of it's history save that it has stood as it is today since we moved to the area 15 years ago. Our post office, now relocated, was once across the side street on the right of the photo, and was the last occupied building in the immediate area.

The trees growing up the middle of the building have always fascinated me...life in the midst of decay.
