Balance

Balance. There can be a very fine balance between life and death. This poor little chick, I presume in its egg, had blown down to ground level in yesterday's blustery weather.

I have had two hospital appointments in two different towns which has meant a very long and tiring day. On top of two long assessments and tests the driving around in the rain has meant that I am absolutely jiggered. Both had good outcomes and will give me treatment so it was worth going.
