Rue Trivalle

This house is a few doors up from the hotel where we have been staying the last few days; something about its faded appearance appealed, as a contrast to the medieval splendour of my other Carcassonne blips.

This morning we strolled along the banks of the Aude, crossing it on the causeway beneath the Ramparts before a leisurely lunch in the sun back up in the Cite. We're back home now after a late afternoon flight. How lucky we are to be just a 90 minute flight from beauty and experiences like this.
