This wee machine is a Reims/Cessna FR172F "Reims Rocket" on Wipline 2350A amphibious floats. With EASA approval G-DRAM is the FIRST (and ONLY) certificated amphibious Cessna 172 in Europe.

Operated by Scotland on Floats she is available for charter or pilot training and certification and operates out of Prestwick airport.

Looks like a very flexible way to travel to some of the more inaccessible areas of Scotland.

This may well be the last Wings over Prestwick blips for a while due to work commitments taking me North to the highlands for a few weeks.
