Anything but calm

The calm tranquility of Lake Geneva had dissipated from Friday evening as we travelled past on our way home. A very different scene approached us - compelling, dramatic and full of contrasts. Our day was spent happily admiring the 100 best wildlife photos of 2014, at the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition in the Aosta Valley, followed by catching up with good friends over supper. A refreshing and inspiring day.
