Brechin Station

The Caledonian Railway is a four-mile standard gauge railway located in the North East of Scotland.

The line runs from the Victorian terminus station at Brechin (this Blip) through the Angus countryside to what was once a mainline station at Bridge of Dun, this station being on the west coast mainline from London to Aberdeen via Glasgow. Bridge of Dun station was also a regular stopping point for the Royal Train en route to Ballater. Passenger services stopped running to Brechin in 1952 with goods trains running until 1981.
