It's the only author that my daughter reads, not that she reads much these days and I think it may have had something more to do with Morgan Freeman than Paterson's talent.

My father was an avid bookworm and when my sister took his library books back after he died the ladies in the library were saddened that he had passed away and said he'd checked out about a dozen books every week.

Being a big Patterson fan himself, he had all of his books which I passed onto my daughter. She now needs a bookcase as they've been sitting in a pile on the table in the hall for three years!
