King Eider

A fantastic evening on the Ythan Estuary in glorious spring weather with a fantastic bird. This King Eider returns to the estuary each year. He was chasing the Common Eider females and seemed to have made it with a particular female.
Problems with the focus on my EOS-M resulted in many shots being soft. This was one of the better ones. Will take my DSLR tomorrow and hope I can find him again.
And hello to the birder/photographer who looked as if he had the right stills/video gear and gave me good tips where to see puffins and black guillemots. Would like to see your photos sometime.
