Delight

I started weaving my new piece called Delight, as in red sky at night, named by Karen. I love the colours in it and more than half of the warp contains silk so it's going to feel amazing. I also started spinning the green batts I made the other day as I prefer to get the yarn for the next piece ready while I still have one on the loom. The green is spinning up beautifully and I'm quite looking forward to seeing how it works out with the olive silk and alpaca yarn I'm going to weave if with.

I made a start on planning my final assignment due in just over a fortnight, I'll need to crack on with the reading to get finished in time.
