Hello Spain!

What a day! First get up ay 4 after finishing packing at half past midnight...to get to the airport by 5ish...met an old college friend on my husband who got us through fast track in security to get a flight to Madrid. Arrive to Madrid at 11 with 30 degrees...oh that was hot!...quickly show a little bit of Madrid to my friends while catching up with an old friend who came to pick us up (how lovele of he) Introduce my British friend to the world of the croquetas...to then run in the Metro and through the bus station to catch the bus to Logroño...and after 4 hours on a bus in the heat of the afternoon and alternating on and off snozzin with teaching my friends random spanish sentences we finally made it to La Rioja & Logroño...and what one must do in Logroño on a Saturday night: go from bar to bar having wine & tapas! Oooh what a life!
