Now only one dog. I walk alone

With Lily gone, Luv Popcorn walks Nevada. It is going to be awhile before I'm ready to get another dog. When we get another dog, there is the fear that we will be in this same circumstance again w/in a few years as Nevada is 11-12 years old. I may adopt an older dog. I would get a parrot again but don't want a pet that is going to bond & then out live me. The curse resulting from Adams chose will continue to be painful. Animals did not die either before Adam chose to sin and God removed Adam & Eve & their descendant from the GARDEN.
