At The Depot
Yet more research (at the moment, life is pretty much evenly divided between reading and writing, like some round-the-clock literacy drive); this time I'm delving into the Battle of Saltley Gate in 1972, when the West Midlands Gas Board coking depot was shut down by the impromptu march of ten thousand Amalgamated Engineering Union members to the depot gates in support of the picketing miners there.
