Day 1 of AnnieMay and MollyMay's May challenge - MayDay

Mayday - a traditional day of celebration with Maypoles and young girls dancing round them wrapping the poles in brightly coloured ribbons, or the day that the workers celebrate, or the international word for HELP!

I kept an eager eye out for a broken down car or truck that was being rescued, but no luck. So with no maypoles in sight it was the down to the party shop that could sell the requisite items in order to celebrate Mayday the traditional way.
