Lightweight options

Before the shoulder op I did look at some options among my camera collection as useable pieces of equipment whilst I recuperate. My trusty D800 with the 28-300 weighs in at just shy of 2Kg, and holding and firing it with just my left hand simply isn't going to work.

My D3100 with the 18-200 still weighs in at over 1Kg

My Nikon J2 seems workable at under 500g

But this - my leica look alike, weighing only 163g has to be favourite! Sadly, it doesn't take pictures. One of my guests brought it from Africa, where they make them out of drinks cans!

I think the J2 will be the one!
