At Ease

Needs must when the sun shines! A servitor from the National Gallery soaks up its rays on his break, unfazed as long as he keeps his eyes closed, by the constant stream of people passing nearby.

There were many other people soaking up the sunshine in Princes Street Gardens today, not least His Lordship and I who became the stereotypical old pensioner couple licking ice creams while sitting on a bench people watching.

They were not to know that His Lordship had already done a stint in the gym, while I was trading in a pair of jogging leggings for another size.
Fortunately it is only for you and me to know that it was for a bigger size........ to accommodate those ice creams.
