Bluebells
I wanted to get a Bluebell Blip before they all die off - and they are on their way.
Back in March (17th) I posted a shot of an area of the woods which becomes a carpet of Bluebells, hoping that I would be able to take the very same shot, just with a different feel.
However, I hadn't accounted for the growth of the ferns, which has led to the original view of the Bluebells being largely obscured by curls of green; nor had I factored in a large tree falling across the path, which, just like the ferns, does impact on the shot.
In short, it's the same area of the woods, simply taken from the other side of the tree. As the Bluebells are no longer in their prime, I've opted for the colour palette over clarity, choosing to focus on the tree in the foreground, rather than the now slightly forlorn Bluebells.
